FORMAT:
Competition race categories:

• 4 to 6 x Y3/4 Boys (approx. 1,000m)
• 4 to 6 x Y3/4 Girls (approx. 1,000m)
• 4 to 6 x Y5/6 Boys (approx. 1,600m)
• 4 to 6 x Y5/6 Girls (approx. 1,600m)

FUN RUN (fancy dress optional) no teams, any number can take part

• approx 600m run/walk/skip/hop

TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 4, maximum of 6 runners per category – (i.e. 4/6 x Y3/4 Girls & 4/6 x Y3/4 Boys plus 4/6 x Year 5/6 Girls & 4/6 x Year 5/6 Boys). Schools may bring more than one team per age category (ie 8 pupils would be and A team of 4 and B team of 4 runners)

RULES:
Each child receives a point for the place they finish the race. (e.g. 1st = 1 point).
First four finishers from each team contribute to the team total.
Team with the LOWEST score wins.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DAY:
Suitable clothing and footwear for all weathers
Refreshments
Any medication required

PARENTS MAY SPECTATE BUT MUST REMAIN IN DESIGNATED AREAS AND SIGN IN AT SCHOOL RECEPTION

PROGRESSION:

The first THREE individuals in each race will qualify for the County Finals AND the first TWO teams in each race will also qualify for the County Finals. TO BE CONFIRMED
