FORMAT:

Completion of the Mixed Football Leagues. All teams to play in mini leagues in the morning. We will then allocate schools to either the Cup or Shield in the afternoon.

There is a separate Girls Football Competition on Thursday 25th May 2023

CATEGORY:

CUP = Compete

SHIELD = Participate

TEAM REQUIREMENTS:

•  Teams consist of  7 players including a goal keeper (squads of 10)
• Any mix of gender is permitted

RULES:

• Game starts from the centre circle, with the other team kicking off the second half.
• Goal keepers can handle the ball in the box, handling outside is a freekick to the opposition
• Pass back rule applies
• As per England FA regulations = NO HEADING AT ALL
• No head height restrictions
• Throws in – Over head
• No Offsides
• Corners normal
• Free kicks – 5 yards
• Rolling subs – break in play
• No metal studs on astroturf – Shinpads must be worn
• POWERPLAY – if leading by 4 clear goals the opposition may bring on an extra player

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DAY:

• Children to bring suitable clothing/ footwear
• Light refreshments
• Any required medication
• Bibs
• Size 4 Ball
